Safety is paramount to our sport and a it is a must for all clubs to send at least one representative who can then report back to your club safety committee.
The NSW AGM also needs to be well attended as the NSWGA is being tasked with more responsibility and needs help. I will publish the process and forms later but each NSW clubs can and should nominate two representatives to attend the AGM.
2017 Safety Seminar
An important date for your diary is the GFA Safety Seminar to be held at Narromine Saturday 16th September 2017. Organised by Stuart Ferguson and Chris Thorpe
Please let Beryl know that you are coming so that she can organise food for everyone.

- Air Worthiness, SDR Reporting, Maintenance Programs and Record Keeping
- Human Factors, Decision Making
- Threat and Error Management
- Decision Making during Competitions, Record attempts and Badge Flights.
- Club Safety Management
- Human Factors Exercise

NSW Gliding Association AGM
As a follow on from the safety seminar the NSW GA will hold its annual general meeting at Narromine on Sunday 17th September. If you have already made the effort to get out to Narromine on that weekend then why not put in your two Bob's worth at the AGM. All are welcome. The main agenda item will be to elect committee members for the 2017-2018 year. I will put out a more complete agenda later.
